The Electric Bookshop brings together people with a common interest in technology, literature, design and publishing. It’s a discussion and demonstration forum for literary and technology types, as well as being a great social.

Our first event was held on Wednesday 27 October, 2010, in Inspace, and featured guests Sophie Rochester of The Literary Platform and Eli Horowitz of McSweeney’s. You can read Sophie’s blog about the event over the the Literary Platform and have a nosy at Chris Scott’s photos on Flickr.

We also enjoyed presenting Electric Bookshop at Pecha Kucha #11 on Friday 11 March at Inspace, and had a hugely illuminating time at the ELMCIP Publishing Seminar 28 – 29 March in Jyväskylä, Finland.

The Electric Bookshop is supported by Creative Industries Knowledge Transfer Network.
